After an exciting game during the homecoming day this past weekend, the Falcons hit the road for a non-conference game at Widener.
For the Falcons the defense held the Pride to just two first half goals and four second half goals while
Selena Contreras (Catasauqua, PA/Catasauqua) got the start and played all 70 minutes in goal while allowing just six goals and collecting eight saves. Â "We had a very strong passing game and we played very strong defensively in the first half" said Head Field Hockey Coach Cindy Joseph "We are continuing to work on our transition game and we are looking forward to this Saturday" Coach Joseph would add.
The Falcons are now 0-9 overall but remain just 0-2 in the CSAC and will return home this weekend when they battle Notre Dame of Maryland University.
