After finishing 1-1 in the Tri-Match this past weekend, the Falcons looked to continuing their excellence on the court as they would travel to Neumann University for a CSAC showdown this evening.
For the Falcons, freshman
Kaylee Martinez (Hemet, CA/West Valley) led the Falcons with 13 digs while
Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) would collect nine, and
Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) would finish with eight. Â On the other side of the net,
Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) led the team with 10 kills while Clayton would finish with five. Â Schnaubelt, Danish and Collins also all finished with multiple kills on the day, while Danish would lead the Falcons with 15 assists.
The Falcons would take set three but would fall in the match 3-1 (25-16, 25-8, 23-25, 25-6). Â They now sit at 2-15 overall and 2-3 in the CSAC. Â The teams remaining schedule is all CSAC opponents as the Falcons continue to push for a playoff spot for 2014.
