After suffering a season opening loss at the hands of New Rochelle, the Cedar Crest College Basketball team took to the court against fellow All-Women's College Bryn Mawr.
The Falcons would run into little resistance coming from the owls as the Falcons would out score Bryn Mawr 33-14 in the first half and 32-16 in the second half to take game two of the 2014-2015 season 65-30. Â For the Falcons sophomore
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School) led all players with 22 points and eight rebounds, barely missing her first double-double of the season. Â
Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) would add 13 points of her own while grabbing seven rebounds, three of which would come from the offensive side, and
Kayleigh Keggan (Blairstown, NJ/Belvidere) would add 10 points and three rebounds. Â Freshman
Shemeca Thompson (Bridgeport, CT/Warren Harding) would lead all Falcons with nine rebounds, while
Denyell Spingola (East Haddam, CT/Nathan Hale-Ray) would add five assists.
The Falcons now sit at 1-1 overall and will host PSU-Lehigh Valley at 7 pm on Wednesday November 19th.
