The Cedar Crest College Basketball team took to the court in the 2014 Hilton Garden Inn Tournament Game One against PSU-Abington.Â

The Falcons would open the first half going 7-20 from the field and 2-4 from three point range. As a team the Falcons would also finish 2-3 from the charity strip. Individual standouts for the Falcons included senior
Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) who would grab six rebound and connect for eight points in the first half.Â
DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) would also grab two boards and finish with three first half points as would starting guard
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School).Â
Miranda Schaeffer (Newport, PA/Newport) would round out the first half scoring for the Falcons collecting four first half points and one rebound. As a team the Falcons shot 35% from the field and 66.7% from the free throw line.
Lewis would finish game one for the Falcons shooting 4-14 for 11 points and grab nine rebound en route to 12 rebounds and her first double-double at home for the young season. Osley would finish second on the team for the day with six points while Lantion would add five. Schaeffer and
Denyell Spingola (East Haddam, CT/Nathan Hale-Ray) would add four points each for the game. As a team the Falcons grabbed 24 rebounds including seven offensive.Â
The Falcons now sit at 1-3 overall and will play against Morrisville State at 11:00 AM tomorrow morning.
