The Cedar Crest College Basketball team opened up Colonial States Athletic Conference play with a match up against the Giants of Keystone College.

For the Falcons, Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) continued her streak of double-double's collecting 12 rebounds and 13 points bringing her season total to six.  Other standouts for the Falcons included freshman Miranda Schaeffer (Newport, PA/Newport) who totaled 12 points while class make Victoris Eppright totaled seven points for a season high.  

As a team, the Falcons shot 30% from the field in the first half, and connected with two from beyond the arc.  The second half saw the Falcons shoot 63% from the free throw line and finish 5-8.  The Falcons scored 12 points off of turnovers and 14 points in the paint.

As a team the Falcons also had six second chance points while the bench chipped in nine points in the CSAC opener.

The Falcons fall to 1-6 overall and 0-1 in the CSAC and will travel to Cabrini on Saturday with game time set for 7 pm.
