The Falcons took to the road for their second consecutive CSAC showdown as they traveled to Cabrini College this evening.
For the Falcons
DeJanet Lantion (Silver Spring, MD/John F. Kennedy) led the team offensively dropping in 12 points, while
Breonna Lewis (Abingdon, MD/Sovereign Grace Homeschool) saw her streak of consecutive Double-Doubles end as she would collect six points and four rebounds. Â
Elizabeth Michas (Moravia, NY/Moravia Central) would add four points and three rebounds while
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School),
Miranda Schaeffer (Newport, PA/Newport) and
Denyell Spingola (East Haddam, CT/Nathan Hale-Ray) would round off the scoring.
As a team the Falcons scored eight points in the paint, collecting five points off of turnovers and saw their bench collect six points. Â The Falcons shot 26.5% from the field and 100% from beyond the arch. Â As a team, the Falcons also finished with nine free throws for a 64.3% from the line.
The Falcons now sit at 1-7 overall and 0-2 in the CSAC and will wrap up play for 2014 when they host Franklin and Marshall for the home finale on Monday 12/8 with game time set for 7 pm.
