Bryn Athyn, PA - Playing in their first game of the 2014 season, the Cedar Crest College Volleyball team took to the road for a match against Bryn Athyn.  After dropping the first set 25-10, the Falcons would come from behind to win set 2 (25-23), that would be the Falcons only set win as Bryn Athyn would close the door on the day winning set 3 (25-16) and then again in set 4 (25-13).  Senior Rebecca Grady (Silver Spring, MD/Paint Branch) finished with 10 kills leading the Falcons in that category.  Sophomore Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) would contribute 18 assists.  "Even though we lost, we played like a team and worked hard" said Head Coach Marie Polzella "We have a really good season to look forward to, the team did a lot of things well but we need to decrease our little errors".

The Falcons will return to action once again on the road this Wednesday as they travel to Montclair, New Jersey for a Tri-Match against Montclair State and the US Merchant Marine Academy.  The first match is scheduled to begin at 3 pm, with the second beginning at 5 pm.
