ALLENTOWN, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College field hockey team faced Marywood University in a tough 8-1 loss in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Saturday afternoon.

Emily Rodenberger (Pennsburg, PA/Upper Perkiomen) recieved a pass from sophomore midfielder
Hannah Gouck (Kintnersville, PA/Palisades) to find the back of the cage. The Pacers had an offensive attack that couldn't be matched heading into halftime with a 4-1 lead. The second half had Cedar Crest take two shots by
Rodenberger the first shot being blocked and the follow up shot being saved by the goalkeeper, but would fall in a final score of 8-1.

Andi Dargis (East Hampton, NY/East Hampton) made 12 saves in the game.
The next game for the field hockey team is on Wednesday, October 21 at 4:00 p.m. at Cabrini College in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match up.
