ALLENTOWN, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College soccer team fell 3-0 as they faced Cabrini College in Colonial States Athletic Conference action on Tuesday afternoon.
"I was really happy with how hard we worked today," commented Head Coach
Sarah Wolcott. "Cabrini is a great team, and I was happy we stayed focused and played hard for 90 minutes and held them scoreless in the second half."
Sophomore defender
Kelsey Snavely (Lititz, PA/Warwick) had the lone shot of the first half for the Falcons that the goalkeeper was able to make the save to head into halftime with a 3-0 lead.
In the second half, Cedar Crest was able to take six shots. Sophomore midfielder
Jackalyn Beckett (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) was able to take the first shot of the half in the 50
th minute that hooked just wide. Freshman midfielder
Ashley Heffelfinger (Allentown, Pa./Parkland High School) would take the next shot that would sail just high of the goal. Senior forward
Courtney Long (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) would attempt the next shot that drew the goalkeeper off her line to make the save.

Kassandra Miller (Fallington, Pa./Pensbury Senior High School) would take back-to-back shots in the 58
th minute, the first missing just high and the second tailing off wide.
Miller would also have the last shot for the Falcons in the 82
nd minute that went just over the cross bar.
The soccer team returns to action on Thursday, October 29 at 4:00 p.m. against Centenary College in their final match of the season.
