Ericka Clayton (Zionsville, PA/Allentown Central Catholic) earned her 1,000th career dig as the Falcons defeated Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent in three sets with scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 26-24 on Monday evening.
Clayton went into tonight's match needing just seven digs to become the second player in Cedar Crest history to reach 1,000 as the only other player to reach the milestone and record holder is
Lisa Stewart with 1,232 career digs.
Clayton reached and then some, leading the attack for the team with 14 kills while totaling 14 digs on the night. Sophomore outside hitter
Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) had six kills, two service aces, one assist and one dig while junior oppostie hitter
Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) added four kills, one service ace and eight digs.
