La Plume, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College soccer team traveled to Keystone College to battle in another Colonial States Athletic Conference match up, the Falcons fell 2-0.
"I was really happy with our efforts today," commented Head Coach
Sarah Wolcott. "We showed a lot of guts. Playing down at times, because of injuries, we fought hard and generated some good chances.
Caitlyn Mann (Harrisburg, PA/Central Dauphin) stepped up in the back for another stand out performance."

Kassasndra Miller fired the first of six shots for the Falcons missing wide within two minutes of play. Keystone jumped out to a quick lead with their first goal in the fifth minute. Sophomore back
Julianne Martone (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown ) attempted in the ninth minute but was saved by the goalkeeper. Freshman midfielder
Alexandra Zoda (Poughkeepsie, N.Y. /Roy C Ketcham Senior High School) had a shot on net, as well as a header attempt by junior forward
Sarafina Woolridge-Burns (Devonshire, Bermuda/Warwick Academy/St. Johnsbury Academy) and two shots by sophomore midfielder
Kari Vanderslice (Clementon, NJ/Highland Regional), but would head into half time with a 2-0 deficit.
In the second half Cedar Crest got nine shots off, six on net. Three shots were taken by back
Caitlyn Mann, while senior forward
Courtney Long (Coopersburg, PA/Southern Lehigh) and midfielder
Jackalyn Beckett (New Egypt, N.J./New Egypt) all tried to cut the lead but despite their best efforts ended the match, 2-0.
The Falcons next match is Saturday, October 3 at home against Cabrini College at 2:30 p.m. for their Think Pink game in Colonial States Athletic Conference action
