Box Score BRONX, N.Y. --- The Cedar Crest College volleyball team fell to non-conference Lehman College in three close sets, with score of 25-20, 25-21 and 25-14 Wednesday night.
"I am happy with the improvements we have made this far in our season," stated Head Coach
Shelby Morgan. "We still have some minor adjustments to make. Lehman had a strong offense that took us for a run but with a few changes we will be ready for our next game."
The Falcons were led by the sophomore class as defensive specialist
Kaylee Martinez and outside hitter
Molly Schnaubelt led the team with six kills apiece.
Martinez added eight digs and four assists while
Schnaubelt had two digs, two service aces and one assist.
Junior opposite hitter
Maggie Olock contributed three kills, two service aces and five digs as senior
Kimlynn Tran had two kills, six digs and one service ace. Junior setter
Celina Danish added nine assists, two kills, and two digs.
The Cedar Crest College volleyball team is back in action on the courts on Monday, September 14 at 7:00 p.m. at Delaware Valley University.Â
