SCRANTON, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College basketball team traveled to Colonial States Athletic Conference foe Marywood University falling, 87-41, on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons were led by freshman guard
Tenille Stewart (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) who had a game-high of 18 points, shooting 75.0% from the free throw line. Freshman guard
Rianna Kinard (Clinton, MD/Surrattsville High) and junior guard
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School) both tossed in seven points apiece.
Kinard had three assist, one block, two steals and two rebounds while
Osley added two steals, two assists and two rebounds.
Sophomore forward
Shemeca Thopmson scored four points and four rebounds as senior guard
Kayleigh Keggan (Blairstown, NJ/Belvidere) had three points, three assists and four rebounds. Freshman forward
Katherina Pierre (Middletown, NY /John S. Burke Catholic) had a team-high of six rebounds, one block and two points.
The next game for the Falcons is on Wednesday, January 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Gwynedd Mercy University.
