Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College volleyball team lost 3-1 to fellow Colonial States Athletic Conference member Immaculata University on Tuesday night.
The Falcons played four sets, losing the first 25-9. In the second set, both teams were matched point-for-point until Cedar Crest pulled ahead and got the win 25-23. The Falcons lost the last two sets with scores of 25-14 and 25-13, respectively.
Freshman
Steph Barr (Unionville, CT/Sport and Medical Sciences Academy) had the team high of 20 assists as well as one service ace for the Falcons. Senior
Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) led the team in digs and service aces with 14 and two respectively. Freshman
Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) and junior
Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) had seven kills apiece.
Hill led the team in blocks with three. Senior
Maggie Olock (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty High School) had 13 digs, four kills, and one block for the Falcons.
The next match for the Falcons will be on the road against CSAC-foe Notre Dame of Maryland University. The match is set to begin at 4:00 PM on October 22.
