Box Score GWYNEDD VALLEY, Pa.--- The Cedar Crest College field hockey team played in their final game of the 2016 season at Gwynedd Mercy University by a score of 7-0 under the lights on Tuesday evening.

"I'm proud of the way that the girls fought the entire game and never gave up until the very end," stated Head Coach Kellina Yarrish. "We accomplished so many things this season. Every single practice the girls come to learn. They put everything we have taught them into play and we couldn't ask for more."

The Falcons faced an experienced and top team in the Colonial States Athletic Conference as the only shot for Cedar Crest came late in the second half by senior forward Samantha VanBeers (Warwick, NY/Warwick Valley) in the 68^th minute of play that the goalkeeper stopped. Freshman goalkeeper Emma Ryan (Sterling, Va./Park View) tallied 11 saves in the game.
