ALLENTOWN, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College Falcons fell to non-conference Hollins University 63-54 on Tuesday afternoon in Lees Gymnasium in their final game of the fall semester.
The Falcons took the first two quarters, edging out Hollins 16-12 in the first and holding a one point lead, 33-32, at halftime. A close third quarter gave the visiting team the one point lead and the momentum heading into the fourth quarter to earn the win.
Sophomore guard
Tenille Stewart (Pennsauken, NJ/Pennsauken) led with a team high of 22 points, and three assisted, tied for the team high. Freshman guard/forward
Geminii Cabrera (Reading, Pa./Berks Catholic) had 15 points, five rebounds and two assists before fouling out. Freshman guard
Sylera Weller (Lancaster, Pa./J.P . McCaskey) scored 10 points, had six rebounds and three assists.

Venus Cabrera (Reading,Pa./Bucks Catholic) brought down six rebounds while scoring four points. Senior guard
Taylor Osley (Allentown, PA/Louis E. Dieruff High School) had five steals along with three points and three rebounds. Junior forward
Shemeca Thompson (Bridgeport, CT/Warren Harding) also brought down six rebounds on the afternoon.
The next game for the Falcons will be in 2017 as they start the year with a Colonial States Athletic Conference game against Marywood University at 7:00 p.m. in Lees Gymansium.
