Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SCRANTON, Pa.---The Cedar Crest College volleyball team traveled to Marywood University for a tri-match with the Pacers and Pratt Institute. The Falcons faced off with host school falling in three sets in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match up. The team faced a tight five match set against the Cannoners that ultimately set the team back another game.

In game one, junior middle hitter Molly Schnaubelt (San Diego, CA/University City) had four kills, one service ace and one assist while freshman middle hitter Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) added three kills. Freshman setter/outside hitter Steph Barr (Unionville, CT/Sport and Medical Sciences Academy) had four service aces, five digs and seven assists.

In game two, the Black and Yellow took the first two sets 25-23 and 25-21, but their opponent came back to force a fifth set that came down to the final points. Each set was a battle for points, Schnaubelt led with a team-high 11 kills, four service aces and one block.

Hill had six kills, one assist, three service aces, two blocks and 14 digs while freshman outside hitter Breanna Fields (Candor, N.Y./Candor Central) had five kills, one assist, a team-high of five service aces, six digs and one block assist. Barr paced the team with 26 assists, four service aces, three kills and 14 digs as senior setter/outside hitter Celina Danish (Allentown, PA/Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts) added five service aces, four kills, one assist, five digs, one block assist.

The next match for the Falcons is on Thursday, September 22 at 7:00 p.m. as the team takes on Clarks Summit in a Colonial States Athletic Conference match up.
