ASTON, Pa.--- The Colonial States Athletic Conference has released its weekly reports, these reports include complete player of the week and honor roll selection information, as well as a recap of last week's action in the league and a look at the upcoming week.
The field hockey team picked up two conference nods this week, the first, sophomore goalkeeper
Emma Ryan (Sterling, Va./Park View) earned Defensive Player of the Week. Ryan posted two shutouts this week, the first against Keystone where she faced 12 shots making five saves while the second game was against Notre Dame of Maryland.
Freshman midfielder
Annalise Unger (Burlington, VT /Rice Memorial ) worked her way on the Honor Roll.
Unger netted the game winner and lone goal at Keystone as well as two more goals against the Gators for her ninth goal of the season.
"Both Emma and Annalise were instrumental parts of our success in conference play this week," stated Head Coach
Kellina Yarrish. "Annalise created scoring opportunities for us, both against Keystone and Notre Dame. Emma's composure and intensity in the goal was fantastic and we are so proud of her."
