Box Score ALLENTOWN, Pa - The Cedar Crest College volleyball team beat non-conference Delaware Valley University in four sets on Tuesday night to improve to 4-1 on the season. The Falcons beat the Aggies in the first set 25-17. After playing point-for-point in the second set, the Falcons ultimately dropped 27-25 to the Aggies. The Falcons took the lead once again in the third set, winning 25-21. In the fourth and final set Cedar Crest topped Delaware Valley 25-20, by capitalizing off of a visitor error.
Sophomore middle hitter
Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) lead the Falcons in kills with 14.
Hill had the set winning kill in the third set, allowing the Falcons to regain the lead of the match. Hill also tallied three blocks and three aces.
Kailey Elrod (Annville, Pa./Palmyra Area), a freshman outside hitter had three aces, 13 digs and two assists. Freshman setter
Devyn Crowder (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) had a team high of 21 assists and also added 10 kills for the Falcons. Defensive specialist
Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus), a freshman, had a game high of 27 digs.
Cedar Crest led Delaware Valley in points with 64, kills with 49, assists with 44, blocks with 4 and digs with 68.

The Falcons will play at home on September 16 in a tri-match against Sarah Lawrence College at 10:00 AM and Bryn Athyn at 2:00 PM.
