Box Score BRYN ATHYN, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Volleyball team defeated another Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent on Saturday afternoon, defeating the Bryn Athyn College Lions, 3-1.

The Falcons, now 9-3 overall and 2-0 in conference action, claimed a 3-1 victory over the Lions in a evenly matched contest. The scoreline went as follows: 25-21, 23-25, 25-19 and 28-26.

Cedar Crest record a total of 56 kills, 88 digs, 49 assists and 14 service aces in the win. Sophomore Lindsey Davis (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) led the Black and Yellow with 18 kills, followed by junior Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) with 14. Cedar Crest had four players reach double-figures in digs, led by sophomore Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) with 23 and Davis record 20. Sophomores Devyn Crowder (Aston, Pa./Sun Valley) and Kailey Elrod (Annville, Pa./Palmyra Area) each held their own, with Crowder contributing 14 digs and Elrod adding 10 digs and also led the team with three service aces. Freshman setters Madison Flatt (Reinholds, Pa./Cocauco) and Talia Watson (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) each had 20-plus assists in the match, Flatt with 20 and Watson with 21.

The Falcons return to action on Thursday, October 4 when they host Cairn University in Lees Gymnasium for a 7:00 PM start time.
