ALLENTOWN, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest College Volleyball team was victorious in tonight's matchup against Clarks Summit University in Lees Gymnasium.

The Falcons needed four sets to defeat Clarks Summit, claiming the first set 25-22 before falling 22-25 to the Defenders in the second set. The Black and Yellow would take the third set 25-17 and the fourth and final set by a score of 25-22. Cedar Crest improves to 16-7 overall and 5-2 in the Colonial States Athletic Conference.

Cedar Crest turned in 40 kills, 64 digs, 36 assists, 15 service aces and four blocks. Two Falcons ended the contest in double-digits for kills. Sophomore
Lindsey Davis (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth Area) contributed 13 kills while junior
Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) downed 12 of her attacks in the night. The duo of freshmen setters,
Talia Watson (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) making 19 assists while
Madison Flatt (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) added 15 helpers. Four Falcons were in double-figures for the night in digs, led by sophomore
Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) with 15 digs, followed by freshman
Britney Rivera (Flanders, N.J./Mount Olive) and
Davis each adding 12 and then
Flatt reaching 10 digs.

The Falcons will end the 2018 regular season on Saturday, October 27 with a home contest against Centenary University with a 10:00 AM start at Lees Gymnasium.
