LA PLUME, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest Field Hockey team closed out the regular season with a 2-1 loss to Keystone College on Wednesday evening.
 
The Falcons end the 2018 campaign with an overall record of 6-8 and a Colonial States Athletic Conference record of 4-4 after the loss.
 
The Black and Yellow got on the board first in the seventh minute with a goal scored by freshman 
Samantha Johnson (Hellertown, Pa./Saucon Valley) that was assisted by junior 
Makenzie Kistler (Walnutport, Pa./Northampton). The Falcons would hold on to the lead and take it into the second half. In the 45
th minute, Keystone would find the equalizer. With under eight-minutes remaining, Cedar Crest would fall behind with another Giants goal to give them the lead and defeat the Falcons, 2-1.
 
The Falcons have clinched the third seed in the CSAC/NEAC Playoff Tournament and will go up against Wilson College for the third time this season. The game is scheduled for Saturday, October 27 beginning at 1:00 PM in Chambersburg.
