Box Score LA PLUME, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest Volleyball team's season came to an end in the Colonial States Athletic Conference Semifinals, being defeated by Keystone College Thursday night at the Gambal Center.
The Falcons turn in a final record of 18-8 and a 7-3 record in conference action after falling in straight sets: 19-25, 22-25 and 22-25.
Cedar Crest had 26 kills, 55 digs, 22 assists and eight blocks. Leading the Falcons in kills was junior
Nicole Hill (Parsippany, NJ/Parsippany) with six, followed by sophomore
Elyse Podgurski (Randolph, N.J./Randolph) and freshman
Madison Flatt (Reinholds, Pa./Cocalico) with five kills each. Freshman
Talia Watson (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) had a team-high 11 assists while
Flatt contributed 10 helpers. Sophomore
Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) had 17 digs in the match, which was the team high, followed by three other Falcons with seven digs each.
Hill also earned five blocks with
Flatt adding three of her own.
