BUFFALO, N.Y. --- The Cedar Crest Soccer squad wins its second game of the season with a 3-0 shutout of Medaille College in Buffalo Sunday afternoon.
Scoring her first and second collegiate goals in the contest was freshman forward
Kaitlyn Kozdron (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township), who had two shots on goal. Sophomore midfielder
Erika D'Angelo (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial ) scored in her second straight game for the Black and Yellow, now having three goals on the year.
Junior forward
Kelsey Kehm (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley ) recorded two assists in the game for both of
Kozdron's goals.
Starting in goal today was senior
Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School), saved the only shot on goal and earned the win in the decision.
Maddock is 2-0 this year.
Cedar Crest outshot the Mavericks 17-17 in total shots and 7-1 in shots on goal.
The Soccer team will be hosting SUNY Purchase on Wednesday, September 5 on the FalconPlex for the Home Opener beginning at 5:00 PM.
