BALTIMORE, Mary. --- The Cedar Crest College Soccer squad took down the Gators from Notre Dame of Maryland 2-0 Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons, now 7-3 and 2-1 in Colonial States Athletic Conference competition, got on the board early today. Scoring in the 7
th minute was sophomore
Adrianna Tennis (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove ), netting her fourth goal of the year that was assisted by junior
Kelsey Kehm (Trappe, Pa./Perkiomen Valley ). The Black and Yellow would score another goal in the 28
th minute off the foot of sophomore
Daria Warner (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) for her 10
th goal of the season.
Senior goalkeeper
Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School) earned the win in today's contest, making four saves in 90:00 minutes of action.
Maddock improves to 7-3 on the year.
The Falcons blasted 27 shots with 17 of them being on net, compared to the seven total shots taken by the Gators, four that went on the keeper were saved. Cedar Crest earned three corner kicks to Notre Dame's one.
Cedar Crest will return to action on Tuesday, October 2 when they host Colonial States Athletic Conference opponent Bryn Athyn College for a 7:00 PM start time on the FalconPlex.
