BRYN MAWR, Pa. --- The Cedar Crest Soccer teams suffers first loss of the 2018 season, falling to Bryn Mawr College 4-3 Saturday morning.

The Falcons, now 3-1 on the year, got on the board quick on the road, as freshman Brittney Dunleavy (Auburn, Pa./Blue Mountain) netted her second goal on the season just forty-five seconds into the game. Bryn Mawr would tie up the match in the 32nd minute, but six minutes later, another freshman Kaitlyn Kozdron (Vernon, N.J./Vernon Township) would help the Black and Yellow regain the leave. Shortly after, the Owls would get past the Cedar Crest keeper in the 40th minute to take the game to half time.

In the second half, it remained tied for almost twenty-five minutes before Bryn Mawr would score on a Penalty Kick goal in the 69th minute. With under five minutes remaining in regulation, sophomore Daria Warner (Harrisburg, Pa./Bishop McDevitt) put the ball in the back of the net off of a save to tie the game. Unfortunately, the Owls would find the winning goal with 1:34 remaining in the game to claim the victory over Cedar Crest, 4-3.

Senior Goalkeeper Morgan Maddock (Brick, N.J./Brick Memorial High School) made three saves on the seven shots on target and received the loss in today's game.

The Falcons were outshot 9-15, while having six shots on goal to Bryn Mawr's seven. Cedar Crest took three corners compared to the Owls. Each team made three saves in the contest.

Cedar Crest will remain on the road, as they travel to New Jersey City University on Wednesday, September 12 for a non-conference contest set to begin at 4:00 PM.
