DANBURY, Conn. --- The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) has announced that the Cedar Crest College Volleyball team has earned a spot in the 2019 ECAC Division III Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament on Monday afternoon.
The Falcons Volleyball program has received their first-ever ECAC tournament bid after finishing the 2019 season in the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship game this past weekend. Cedar Crest finished the season with a 15-10 record and went 8-1 in conference action.
"I am very excited that our program has the opportunity to continue their season," commented Head Coach
Shelby Morgan. "We started to play our best volleyball over the last couple of matches and earning the first ECAC bid in program history is a big accomplishment for our program."
Cedar Crest, who earned a 3-seed, will travel to the 2-seed Ramapo College of New Jersey for the first-round of the ECAC Volleyball Championship Tournament. The match is set for 7:00 PM inside the Bradley Center in Mahwah, New Jersey.
