BALTIMORE, Md. --- The Cedar Crest College Lacrosse team suffered a double-digit conference loss, 2-19, to Notre Dame of Maryland University on Saturday afternoon. The Falcons fall to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action.

Cedar Crest was held scoreless in the first, but the Falcons were able to score two in the second half, with the first goal coming from junior
Theresa Neumann (West Point, N.Y./James I. O'Neill).
Neumann scored her fourth goal of the season with 18 minutes remaining in the half. The Black and Yellow's final goal of the game came with about a minute remaining, when junior
Isabella Savino (Middletown, Del./Middletown) netted her third goal of the year.

Starting in goal was sophomore
Allison Churchill (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford), who made 15 saves and allowed 19 goals in the game.
Churchill received the loss in the decision, putting her record at 1-5.

The Falcons record 12 ground balls, nine clears, five free-position shots and four draw controls in the game.

Up next, the Falcons will travel to La Plume, Pa. to compete in another CSAC contest, facing off with the Keystone College Giants. The game is scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM.
