Lacrosse drops home CSAC contest to Keystone under the lights

ALLENTOWN, Pa. ---  The Cedar Crest Lacrosse squad suffered a double-digit loss to Keystone  College under the lights on the FalconPlex Wednesday evening. The Falcons are now 2-7 on the season and fall to 2-4 in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) play.
 
Cedar Crest was held scoreless in the first half, but got two shots past the Keystone goalie in the second half. Junior Isabella Savino (Middletown, Del./Middletown) scored the first goal for the Falcons, coming two minutes into the second half, and her fourth of the season. Scoring the second goal of the game for the Black and Yellow was junior Stephanie Barr, for her third goal of the year.
 
The Falcons picked up 21 ground balls, won 10 draw controls and converted 6-of-8 clears in the game. Cedar Crest also attempted six shots, four going on the goaltender, and converted on two for their goals.
 
Sophomore Allison Churchill (West Deptford, N.J./West Deptford) was in goal for the Black and Yellow, making six saves on the 27 Keystone shots on goal. Churchill received the loss in the decision, putting her record at 2-7
 
The Falcons will travel to Bryn Athyn College on Saturday, April 13 for a CSAC contest. First-whistle is scheduled for 12:00 PM at Nelson Field.
