MADISON, N.J. – The Cedar Crest College field hockey team dropped a 2-0 decision to Drew University in non-conference action on Tuesday night at Ranger Field.
Following a scoreless first half, the Rangers got on the board in the 35
th minute. Freshman Janelle Arch (Manahawkin, N.J.) tallied a goal off a helper from classmate Tyler Olivio (Brick Township, N.J.). Olivio crossed the ball in from the right and Arch dribbled it to the center of the box and scored five-hole past Falcons' freshman goalkeeper

Drew closed out the scoring in the 47
th minute on a marker by senior April Serratelli (Green Township, N.J.). Olivio picked up her second assist on the night. Olivio crossed the ball from the right and Serratelli tipped it in from the left post.
The Rangers' sophomore goaltender Olyvia Jackson (Wilkes-Barre, Pa.) converted two saves in the victory while Rifino registered seven stops in the setback.
Drew doubled up Cedar Crest in the shot category, 12-6, and had a 7-6 edge in penalty corners.
Cedar Crest (5-8 overall) welcomes in Notre Dame of Maryland University for its next contest on Saturday, October 23 at 12:00 p.m. Drew (5-10 overall) begins a two-game road trip on Saturday at Elizabethtown at 1:00 p.m.
