ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The No. 1 seed Cedar Crest College volleyball team advanced to the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) Championship Match with a 3-0 sweep of No. 4 Cairn University in the semifinal round on Thursday night at Lees Gymnasium.
The Falcons won by set scores of 25-8, 25-11, and 25-13 and led in every statistical category.Cedar Crest tallied 54 points, 41 kills, five service aces, 37 assists, and 53 digs.

Sophomore
Ava Grapsy (Macungie, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) led Cedar Crest with a near triple-double of 10 kills, 11 assists, and eight digs. Freshman
Alexis Cummins (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) tallied 10 digs, seven assists, and two block assists. Junior
Kelsee Schouppe (Stroudsburg, Pa./Stroudsburg) rounded out the Falcons with double-digit kills with 10 to go along with two solo blocks and three block assists. Senior
Talia Watson (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton) recorded a match-high 21 assists, seven digs, and two service aces while graduate student
Tiffany Hoppes (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) registered 17 digs and broke her own school record for most digs in a season during the match. She now sits at 452 digs for the season.
Cedar Crest will host No. 2 seed Notre Dame of Maryland University in the CSAC Championship Match on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. The Falcons defeated the Gators, 3-1, back on October 13.
