HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team scored its lone goal in the 63
rd minute and made the margin stand, earning a 1-0 victory over Centenary University on Wednesday night in non-conference action.
"Tonight was a total team effort," said Interim Head Coach
Sam Busillo. "They played for one another and fought for a well-deserved win. Everyone stepped up, from each player on the field to every individual on the bench. This is a game that we should be incredibly proud of and use to fuel the rest of our season."

Erika D'Angelo (Jackson, N.J./Jackson Memorial) netted the goal for the Falcons, who picked up their fifth straight victory of the season.
After a scoreless first half, D'Angelo put Cedar Crest on the scoreboard after she redirected a shot in off a corner kick in the 63
rd minute. The assist on the marker was credited to classmate
Adrianna Tennis (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove).
The Falcons outshot the Cyclones, 15-14, while the teams were even in corners at three each.

Lauren Makely (Lake Grove, N.Y./Sachem North) finished with nine saves while recording her third clean sheet of the season. Senior Rachel Colt (Jackson, N.J.) and junior Chelsea Estacio (Dover, N.J.) each played a half in goal for Centenary and converted five saves apiece.
Cedar Crest (6-0-1 overall) will next host Keystone College on Saturday, October 2 at 1:00 p.m. Centenary (1-4-0 overall) begins conference play on Saturday at home against Marymount University at 1:00 p.m.
