ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College basketball team secured its second-straight victory on Saturday afternoon, posting a 68-46 triumph over Rosemont College in Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) action at Lees Gymnasium.

Amiyah Peters (Plainville, Conn./Plainville) led the way with a season-high 22 points to go along with three rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Junior
Jenna McDonald (Ovid, N.Y./South Seneca) added 21 points, three rebounds, nine assists, and six steals while classmate
Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) chipped in 19 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals.
With the score tied 14-8 after the first quarter in favor of the Falcons, the Ravens answered back with 16 points in the second quarter as Cedar Crest led 31-24 at the intermission.
The Falcons didn't let Rosemont back in the game in the second half, extending the lead to as many as 22. The Ravens finished the contest with a 36-31 edge on the glass, and their bench outscored Cedar Crest's by a 6-0 margin.
Cedar Crest (4-10 overall, 3-8 CSAC) closes a three-game homestand on Monday, January 31 when they welcome in Keystone College for a 6:00 p.m. start. Rosemont (3-13 overall, 3-9 CSAC) will return to action on Wednesday, February 2 at Keystone. Tip-off is set for 6:00 p.m.
