VILLANOVA, Pa. – Senior Ashley Wilson (Norwalk, Conn./Norwalk) and first-year Jordan McGhee (Copperas Cove, Texas/Copperas Cove) of the Cedar Crest College basketball team were recognized by the Colonial States Athletic Conference (CSAC) in the release of its weekly awards.

Wilson was named as the Defensive Player of the Week after collecting 20 rebounds and 11 steals while playing all 80 minutes and adding 37 points over a pair of games for the Falcons.

McGhee earned an Honorable Mention nod after a solid week on the court. She had 16 points and two rebounds against Keystone and closed the week with a team-high 18 points to go along with six rebounds, two assists, three steals and a block against Rosemont.

Cedar Crest (0-5 overall, 0-3 CSAC) will return to the court on Tuesday, January 3 at home against Wilson College at 6:00 p.m.
