DANBURY, Conn. – The Cedar Crest College basketball team has earned a bid into the 2026 ECAC Division III Women's Basketball Championship, as announced on Monday.
The Falcons have claimed the No. 5 seed in the field and will face fourth-seeded Rutgers-Camden in the quarterfinals on Saturday, March 7 at 11:00 a.m.
The winner of the contest between Cedar Crest and the Scarlet Raptors travels to No. 1 seed McDaniel College for a semifinal matchup on Saturday, March 14.
The other quarterfinal matchup features No. 3 seed Keene State College hosting sixth-seeded Lehman College.
The winner of the game between the Owls and Lightning will face second-seeded Brooklyn College in the semifinals.
The Falcons' season continues after falling to eventual United East Conference Tournament Champion St. Mary's College of Maryland in the semifinals of the conference tournament.
Rutgers-Camden comes into the contest with a 14-13 overall record, ultimately seeing their conference season come to an end in the NJAC semifinals to eventual champion The College of New Jersey.
Cedar Crest enters the tournament with an 18-9 overall record.
