Soccer Falls to Ramapo

ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team dropped a non-conference tilt to Ramapo College in a 3-1 final on Wednesday night at the FalconPlex. The match was called after the 70th minute due to an injury.

The Roadrunners got all three of its goals in the first 20 minutes of action, all off the foot of graduate student Carla Goodwin (Wayne, N.J.).

Goodwin put the visitors on the board in the 11th minute with a marker off an assist from graduate student Lauren Vladyka (Somerset, N.J.). Just under a minute later, she found the net again, with the helper going to Vladyka again. The graduate student completed the hat trick in the 19th minute when senior Sam Ingannamorte (River Vale, N.J.) set up her third tally of the contest.

Senior Taylor Wolf (Townsend, Del./Middletown) registered the lone goal for the Falcons in the 30th minute. First-year Brielle Davies (Catasauqua, Pa. /Catasauqua) was credited with the assist.

Junior Makenna Tahbaz (West Caldwell, N.J.) picked the win in goal for the Roadrunners, making two saves in 45 minutes of action. Senior Emma Conlan (Thiells, N.Y.) played the final 25:01 and recorded one save.

Senior Lauren Makely (Lake Grove, N.Y./Sachem North) made four saves in the loss for Cedar Crest.

The Falcons outshot Ramapo 12-10 in the contest and the teams were even in corners with four apiece.
