MADISON, N.J. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team played Saint Elizabeth University to a scoreless draw at Robert T. Shields Field in a United East Conference-Skye Division match on Wednesday afternoon.
The Falcons held a 9-5 edge in shots and had six corner kicks to the Eagles' zero. Senior
Olivia Kelly (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) and junior
Abril Riley (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) registered three shots apiece for Cedar Crest.
Sophomore goalkeeper
Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) was credited with a pair of saves for the Falcons while sophomore Salma Ibrahim (New Brunswick, N.J.) recorded four stops for Saint Elizabeth.
Cedar Crest (1-3-4 overall, 1-0-2 United East-Skye Division) will host the University of Valley Forge for its next match on Saturday, October 7 at 3:30 p.m. Saint Elizabeth (4-4-1 overall, 0-2-1 United East-Skye Division) will travel to Notre Dame of Maryland University for a league contest on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
