ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The top-seeded Cedar Crest College volleyball team won the United East Conference-Skye Division Championship and will welcome in Volt Division Champion Gallaudet University for the Conference Championship match on Saturday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m.
Cedar Crest (16-8 overall) and Gallaudet (30-3 overall) square off for the first time since September 22, where the Bison came out on top, 3-0 (25-14, 25-13, 25-16).
The Falcons advanced to the championship match, defeating No. 2 seed Notre Dame of Maryland University, 3-1 (25-17, 20-25, 25-18, and 25-22).

Maddison Minyo (Covington, Pa./North Penn-Mansfield) led the way for the Falcons with 11 kills, two assists, one service ace, and 17 digs. Senior
Ziah Melton (Allentown, Pa./William Allen) added 10 kills, one block, and two digs. Classmate
Ava Grapsy (Macungie, Pa./Allentown Central Catholic) had a triple-double of 10 kills, 17 assists, and 11 digs. Junior
Alexis Cummins (Stafford, Va./Colonial Forge) chipped in five kills, one block, and a season-high 22 digs. First-year
Nikki Blair (Bridgewater, N.J./Bridgewater-Raritan) a double-double of 21 assists and 11 digs. Sophomore
Ellise Everett (Orlando, Fla./Lake Nona) added seven kills, two assists, one service ace, two blocks, and four digs. Junior
Akashia Johnson (Baltimore, Md./Baltimore Polytechnic Institute) tallied three kills, one assist, and two digs. Senior
Rebekka Sanchez-Castro (Columbia, Md./Atholton) collected a match-high 31 digs to go along with five assists and one service ace.
The Bison moved onto the championship match with a 3-0 sweep of Lancaster Bible College (25-14, 29-27, 25-22).
Senior Natalie Clayberg (Pella, Iowa) paced the Bison with 16 kills and 14 assists. Junior Cassidy Perry (Frederick, Md.) added 10 kills and five blocks. Junior Ella Gamble (Cullowhee, N.C.) handed out a match -high 31 assists. Senior Leila Sicoli (Austin, Texas) led the Gallaudet defense with 22 digs, six assists, two service aces and a kill.
The winner of the match will be named as the United East Conference Women's Volleyball Championship Tournament Champions and will receive the conference's automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament.
Cedar Crest enters the match riding an 11-match win streak and holds a perfect 11-0 inside Lees Gymnasium. Gallaudet is winners of its last 14 matches.
