LATHAM, N.Y. – First-year Erica Cook (Deming, Wash./Mount Baker) of the Cedar Crest College cross country team was the recipient of the United East Conference Runner of the Week award, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

Cook led the Falcons at the DeSales Invitational, placing 44th in a field of 147 runners, clocking a time of 27.11.3. This is the first Runner of the Week award for Cook.

Cook and Cedar Crest will next compete at the Aubrey Shenk Invitational hosted by Gettysburg College on Saturday, October 19 at 10:00 a.m.
