ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team shut out Notre Dame of Maryland University, 1-0, in a United East Conference match on Saturday afternoon at the FalconPlex.

MacKayla Reed (Duncansville, Pa./Hollidaysburg Area Senior) scored her third goal of the season off a corner that put Cedar Crest on the board in the 64
th minute for the only goal of the match. Graduate student

The best chance that the Gators had to score came when junior Malaika Habib (Gaithersburg, Md.) fired off back-to-back shots in the 81

Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) made a pair of saves to preserve the clean sheet.
Bozen made two saves in the win for Cedar Crest. Sophomore Leah Hasberry (San Antonio, Texas) allowed one goal while making 13 saves.
The Falcons outshot the Gators 30-4 in the contest. Cedar Crest had six corner kicks to Notre Dame's one.
Cedar Crest (5-7-2 overall, 3-4-1 United East) will begin their playoff run as the No. 10 seed and will travel to seventh-seeded Wilson College for a first round matchup on Tuesday, October 29. The loss ends the season for Notre Dame (2-11-1 overall, 1-6-1 United East).
