LATHAM, N.Y. – A pair of student-athletes from the Cedar Crest College volleyball team were named as All-Conference selections by the United East Conference, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.

Junior Ellise Everett (Orlando, Fla./Lake Nona) received Second Team All-Conference honors while graduate student Ziah Melton (Allentown, Pa./William Allen) landed on Third Team All-Conference.

Everett played in and started all 26 matches for the Falcons, tallying a team-high 219 kills to go along with 12 assists, 26 service aces, 59 digs, and 63 total blocks (41 solo, 22 assisted). She ranked fourth in the conference in hitting percentage (.279) and fourth in total blocks.

Melton lands on the Third Team after playing in and starting all 26 matches for Cedar Crest. She collected 181 kills, eight assists, 21 service aces, 140 digs, and 16 total blocks (four solo, 12 assisted).

Cedar Crest finished its season with a 9-17 overall record (4-6 United East).
