LATHAM, N.Y. – First-year Caylie Long (Powder Springs, Ga./Hillgrove) of the Cedar Crest College basketball team was selected to the United East Conference-Skye Division All-Conference Second Team, the conference announced on Thursday. 

Long made an immediate impact on the floor in her first season with the Falcons. She played in all 22 games, making nine starts. Long led the team in scoring at 16.9 points per game. She also collected 7.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 2.4 steals, and 1.0 blocks per game. 

Long finished her first-year campaign shooting a team-best 52.5 percent from the floor and tallied 371 points, 162 rebounds, 37 assists, 52 steals, and 22 blocks. 

She ranked eighth in the conference in points per game, second in field goal percentage, ninth in blocks, and 10th in steals. 

Long led Cedar Crest to the conference tournament for the first time since the 2008-09 season as the Falcons finished its season with a 10-12 overall record.
