ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team opened United East Conference play with a 0-0 tie against Bryn Athyn College on Saturday at The FalconPlex.
The Lions outshot the Falcons, 10-3. All three shots for Cedar Crest were on goal. Bryn Athyn had 11 corner kicks to two for the Falcons.

Abril Riley (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) each had a shot on goal for the Cedar Crest. Junior Kira Bradley (Levittown, Pa.) had a pair of shots on goal for the Lions. Junior Hailey Magliton (Philadelphia, Pa.), senior Kylie Scarpiello (Bensalem, Pa.), and first-year Jamie Murray (Douglassville, Pa.) each had one shot on goal.

Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) made seven saves for Cedar Crest. Junior Chloe Munyon (Bensalem, Pa.) was credited three saves for the Bryn Athyn.
Cedar Crest (2-2-2 overall, 0-0-1 United East Conference) will travel to Media, Pa. to take on Penn State Brandywine on Wednesday, October 2 at 4:00 p.m. for a conference game. Bryn Athyn (3-4-1 overall, 0-0-1 United East Conference) will take a trip to Rosemont, Pa. for conference play against Rosemont College on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
