ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College soccer team secured a 0-0 tie with Bryn Mawr College in a non-league match on Saturday at the FalconPlex.
The Owls outshot the Falcons 13-1 in the first half, but the contest remained scoreless at the half. Senior
Abril Riley (Levittown, Pa./Harry S. Truman) recorded the lone shot for Cedar Crest.
Bryn Mawr registered 17 more shots in the second half, but were unable to find the back of the net as the contest ended in a draw.
The Owls had six corner kicks to the Falcons' one.
Junior
Bella Bozen (Lockport, Ill./Lockport Township) was credited with 13 saves and helped preserve the tie for Cedar Crest.
Cedar Crest (0-1-1 overall) will return to the pitch on Saturday, September 14 against Manhattanville University at 3:00 p.m. The match will also serve as Senior Day for the Falcons. Bryn Mawr (1-0-2 overall) will return home to host Penn State Harrisburg on Wednesday, September 11 at 4:30 p.m.
