BETHLEHEM, Pa. — The Cedar Crest College cross country team placed 32nd at the Paul Short Run on Friday afternoon at Lehigh University.

Sophomore Giada Smith (Springtown, Pa./Palisades) led the Falcons, crossing the finish line in 26:41.0, earning a 155th place finish. First-year Lillian Waugh (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) followed, completing the 6k course in 30:16.7 and securing the 203rd spot.

The team's scoring was rounded out by senior Shayla Simek (Lehighton, Pa./Lehighton Area) and sophomores Kasia Dos Santos (Slatington, Pa./Northern Lehigh) and Abby Adams (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland), with times of 33:11.2, 33:27.1, and 34:32.8, respectively.

Cedar Crest will next compete at the DeSales University Invitational in Center Valley, Pa., on Saturday October 11 at 10:30 a.m.
