ALLENTOWN, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College tennis team lost a 6-1 decision to Lancaster Bible College in a United East Conference match on Tuesday afternoon.

Gracelynn Pauley (New Oxford, Pa./South Western) won at third doubles by forfeit for the Falcons.
Lancaster Bible went onto win five of the six singles matches. Barnard fell to Hartmann, 6-1 and 6-0 at the top singles spot. Weist got by Nieman (7-6, 6-2) at the No. 2 slot. Hoover took down O'Connor at third singles, 6-1 and 6-0. Clawser defeated Huff at No. 4 by identical 6-1, 6-1 scores. First-year Becky Dimov beat Beverage by scores of 7-6 and 6-4 at fifth singles. Aleice Cherry (Raleigh, N.C./Oscar Smith) won by forfeit at the No. 6 spot for Cedar Crest in the 6-1 final.
Cedar Crest (1-6 overall, 1-4 United East) continues its busy week as the Falcons host Bryn Athyn College on Wednesday, April 16 at 4:00 p.m. Lancaster Bible (8-7 overall, 5-2 United East) will conclude the regular season at Penn College on Saturday, April 19 at 2:00 p.m.
