ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. – The fourth-seeded Cedar Crest College lacrosse team lost to top-seeded St. Mary's College of Maryland, 29-0, in the United East Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday at Jamie L. Roberts Stadium.
The Seahawks netted 13 goals in the first, seven in the second, five in the third, and four in the fourth for the 29-0 final.
Junior Isabel Gautreaux (Bel Air, Md.) picked up the win in goal for St. Mary's, making one save in 30 minutes. Senior Allie Greeley (Havre de Grace, Md.) played the final 30 minutes and converted a pair of saves.
Sophomore
Irelyn Yoder (Wilmington, Del./Concord) recorded five saves in the loss for the Falcons in 30 total minutes. Senior
Brynn Rifino (Dover, Del./Smyrna) was credited with four saves in 30 minutes of action.
Junior Katelin Scala (Catonsville, Md.) led the Seahawks with eight points on three goals and five assists.

Lizzy DeNunzio (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) tallied one to close out the column.

Rachel Bilger (Philadelphia, Pa./Upper Dublin) each registered two. Senior
Ashley Large (Parker, Colo./Regis Jesuit), junior
Adriana Dias (Bethlehem, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic), and senior
Abi Sipel (Bethlehem, Pa./Freedom) rounded out the category with one apiece.
Cedar Crest also had three caused turnovers with Plut, Piciullo, and Large each picking up one.
The Falcons closed out the box score with five draw controls with Plut, Piciullo, Demarest, senior
Maddie Graham (Clayton, Del./Smyrna), and junior
Ellie Terranova (Wilmington, Del./Mount Pleasant) each having one.
The loss ends the season for Cedar Crest (5-8 overall). St. Mary's (9-7 overall) advances to the United East Conference Tournament championship game and will host the winner of Bryn Athyn College and Wilson College on Saturday, May 3.
