LEBANON, Pa. – The Cedar Crest College cross country team opened the 2025 season with a 16
th-place finish at the Dutchmen Invitational on Saturday morning at Union Canal Tunnel Park.
The Falcons amassed a team score of 442.
Sophomore
Giada Smith (Springtown, Pa./Palisades) led the way for Cedar Crest, clocking a time of 23:19.80. Classmate
Kasia Dos Santos (Slatington, Pa./Northern Lehigh) crossed second for the Falcons in a time of 25:40.90. First-year
Lillian Waugh (Easton, Pa./Wilson Area) registered a time of 27:11.40. Sophomore
Abby Adams (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland) recorded a time of 29:22.10. Senior
Shayla Simek (Lehighton, Pa./Lehighton Area) rounded out the top five for Cedar Crest, crossing the finish line in 29:54.30.
Junior
Krishana Brooks (Long Branch, N.J./Long Branch) notched a time of 33:18.10, while junior
Lexus Kutz (Wilson, Pa./Wilson Area) closed out the runners in the field for the Falcons with a time of 34:56.10.
Cedar Crest next competes at the United East Conference Preview Meet on Friday, September 12 at 5:30 p.m. hosted by Penn State Brandywine.
