MEDIA, Pa. — The Cedar Crest College tennis team lost to conference opponent Penn State Brandywine, 6-1, on Wednesday at the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Courts. The Falcons secured a notable singles victory at the No. 6 position.

Gracelynn Pauley (New Oxford, Pa./South Western) and junior
Cam Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) fell 6-1 at No. 1 doubles. Senior
Megan Perrine (Mount Vision, N.Y./Gilbertsville-Mount Upton) and sophomore
Ella Bincarosky (Coopersburg, Pa./Bethlehem Catholic) faced a similar outcome at second doubles, concluding their match with a 6-1 scoreline. The Lions took No. 3 doubles by forfeit.
In singles, Bincarosky delivered a strong performance at sixth singles, securing a straight-set victory with a 6-2, 6-4 score. However, Pauley was defeated 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 singles. At second singles, Beverage engaged in a three-set battle but ultimately fell 6-4, 3-6, 1-6.

Grace Huff (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area), competing at No. 3 singles, narrowly lost with set scores of 7-5, 7-6. First-year
Jade Wilson () and Perrine, playing at fourth and fifth singles respectively, both succumbed in straight sets, with Wilson finishing 6-1, 6-2 and Perrine ending 6-0, 6-1.
Cedar Crest (0-4 overall, 0-2 United East) stays on the road to face Cairn University on Saturday, March 28 at noon. Penn State Brandywine (3-4 overall, 1-1 United East) stays home to welcome in Penn State Berks for a league match on Saturday at 1:00 p.m.
