SOUTH WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. — The Cedar Crest College tennis team lost to Penn College 6-0 on Saturday at the Central PA Tennis Center. The Wildcats secured victories in every match to complete the sweep.

Cam Beverage (Taylor, Pa./Riverside) were defeated at No. 1 doubles, 6-0, while graduate student
Gracelynn Pauley (New Oxford, Pa./South Western) and senior
Megan Perrine (Mount Vision, N.Y./Gilbertsville-Mount Upton) ended with a 6-2 loss at second doubles.
In singles play, Cedar Crest was unable to secure a win across the courts. Pauley was first to finish at No. 2 singles, losing 6-0, 6-0. Wilson followed with a 6-0, 6-0 result at third singles. Junior
Grace Huff (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) completed her match at No. 4 singles with a 6-2, 6-1 setback. Beverage ended with a 6-2, 6-3 loss at first singles. The final singles match featuring Perrine at No. 5 singles resulted in a 6-2, 6-4 defeat.
Cedar Crest (0-9 overall, 0-7 United East) will host their next conference match against Notre Dame of Maryland University on Tuesday, April 14 at 1:00 p.m. Penn College (5-9 overall, 4-3 United East) will also host their next conference game against Lancaster Bible on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
